Makeup at its best!

Jessica Wahlgren's guide to naturally radiant makeup with Skills Combined.
Makeup at its best!

After 25 years as a makeup artist, I've learned one thing: the older your skin gets, the more important hydration, radiance, light textures, and pigment
When I started noticing how my skin was changing, I realized how important it was to use makeup that not only looked natural but also cared for my skin.

Start with the Skin - Concealer

Start with the Skin - Concealer

I always start with skincare and then apply the Hybrid Skin-Like Concealer only where needed. That’s often enough to even out my skin tone and give a more refreshed look without covering my skin too much. If I need more coverage, I follow up with a lightweight, moisturizing foundation.

Concealer: Apply to the inner and outer corners of your eyes, where the skin is darkest, and build it up a little at a time where you want to even out your skin tone.

Tip:

Apply a little concealer just below the dark area under your eye. This creates a reflection of light and gives a fresher, more natural look than covering the entire area under your eye.

Colors That Enhance – Face Palette

After applying the base, I add color and radiance to give the face more life and definition. With the Face Palette, you get bronzer, blush, and highlighter all in one—three shades that are easy to combine and build up for a soft, natural look.

Face Palette
We recommend sweeping the brush over all three shades at once to create the perfect blend of bronzer, blush, and highlighter. Apply to the cheeks for warmth, color, and a natural glow. The shades also work beautifully on the eyelids.

Tip:

Apply a little higher up toward the cheekbone and blend upward and outward for a soft, natural lift.

Add color and definition to your lips

Add color and definition to your lips

Over the years, the natural color and contours of your lips may become less pronounced. With a few simple steps, you can accentuate your lips and create a soft, natural, and fuller look.

Start with Peptide Care Lip Liner to define the lip contour, and feel free to lightly fill in the entire lip for extra staying power. Apply Hydra Tint Lipstick for soft, moisturizing color, and top it off with Instant Care Lip Gloss if you want extra shine and a nourishing feel.

Tip:

Gently blend the lip liner inward with your finger after application. This softens the outline and creates a more natural look. Feel free to apply a little gloss to the center of your lips for extra shine and a fuller look.
